Red Cross collaborates with Warner Bros. for blood drives

In a thrilling collaboration, the Red Cross has partnered with Warner Brothers for the theatrical release of “Meg 2: the Trench.”

The collaboration is to celebrate a summer of sharks and help spread the word that blood donors are needed.

Those who give blood through August 12th will be entered for a chance to win a three-night getaway to New York for two with a private shark dive adventure at Long Island Aquarium.

Those who give throughout August will receive a $10 e-gift card to a movie merchant of their choice.

We’re told it is extremely important to schedule your appointment ahead of time. Communications Director Annette Rowland said, “They are trying to get as many blood donors in and see as many blood donors as they can during a certain amount of time, but we need to be able to know how many people are expecting to be there so we can adequately direct our staff.”
