Reading gate education meeting today in Gulfport

The discussion of properly educating young people in Mississippi continues as MAEP will lose roughly $11 million in funding in 2017 in light of the state legislature’s recent budget cut announcement.
The Mississippi Department of Education is hosting a meeting in Gulfport in an effort to promote literacy among kindergartners to third graders.
