Rapper IheartMemphis surprises students at school

It’s not an average school day when a top Billboard artist performs right inside the school’s gym.
Tennessee rapper IheartMemphis surprised Harrison Central High School students by performing his famous single “Hit the Quan.” IheartMemphis is on the Coast getting ready for tonight’s free concert at the Harrison County Fair. Students weren’t informed about the special performance. IheartMemphis danced for the crowd and snapped some photos with students.
The rapper tells News 25 it pumps him up to be able to share his music with the high schoolers. “It’s a blessing. You know, my whole life, my whole thing is giving back so it’s a blessing. My manager hit me up this morning and said the schools want us there and I said give me ten minutes, we going to make it happen. So, that’s the whole thing about it is just giving back. It feels great.”
IheartMemphis will perform at 9 at the Harrison County Fair. The Harrison County Fair and the concert are both free to the public.
