Rapiscan Systems Classic wraps up at Grand Bear Golf Club

The Rapiscan Systems Classic has ended and a New Zealand golfer emerges victorious.

Steven Alker coasted to his second PGA victory, winning by six shots.

Alker hit a record 18 under at the Grand Bear Golf Course after the tournament moved from Fallen Oak Golf Course.

Alker said, “I had a nice run; I think I birdied 10 and 11 on Friday as well. Just nice to go bogie-free because you know guys are gonna catch it. If you make any bogies and you throw some birdies in there, they’re going to catch it. So, I was real proud of the way I played, especially today.”

Alker takes home $240,000 for the victory.
