Ramp CLOSURE on I-10 E in Hancock County starting Wednesday, June 19th
MDOT announced a closure for the I-10 E Diamondhead exit ramp in Hancock County.
The closure will take place Wednesday, June 19th until work is complete which is approximately four to six weeks.
This closure is part of an interchange reconstruction project where the exiting ramp will be removed and replaced with a two-lane ramp.
Detour signage is in place. Motorists should detour via Exit 20 and merge on I-10 W to access Exit 16. Motorists may seek alternate routes and are reminded to be on high alert for roadside workers.
