Raising money for Bacot Foundation at the 7th annual Renaissance the Runway
The 7th annual Renaissance the Runway brought Barbie to the Gulf Coast.
It’s a night of philanthropy, fashion, and fun here as local models and community leaders are partnering with local boutiques to strut the latest fashion trends on the runway as the Bacot Foundation of South Mississippi is raising money to help South Mississippians in need.
The Barbie-themed fundraiser featured over 70 models walking the runway. The IP Casino collaborated with the Beau Rivage to host the event which saw a crowd of well over 500 people, making it a Coast wide must-see event. Volunteer Kimberly Rasmussen said, “It’s really wonderful to see how much the community comes out and supports the event. A lot of times when you think fashion shows, you know. Model can be an intimidating word for a lot of people. But this is all of leaders in our community that come out just to show their support.”
