Railroad crossing at Waveland Avenue closing temporarily for road work

If you’re traveling in Waveland this week, make note that the railroad crossing at Waveland Avenue will be closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Work is being done to smooth out the cross grade, according to the Waveland city clerk. The ties were replaced recently, but the crossing needs to be smoothed out so it is not rough to cross.

Once work is completed at Waveland Avenue, the city will move on to another crossing.
