Pursuit on I-10 in Harrison County

Just this afternoon, a pursuit took place on I-10 in Harrison County near the Canal Road exit.

According to Sheriff Troy Peterson, a deputy attempted to stop the vehicle driven by Malik Robinson of Alabama for a minor traffic violation .

While attempting to stop, another vehicle, driven by Colin Seals of Alabama, then attempted to ram the deputy’s vehicle from the side and get in between the suspect’s vehicle and the deputies. That’s when the pursuit ensued and ended at Canal Road.

Sheriff Peterson says Robinson had a loaded AR-15 and a felony amount of marijuana. He’s being charged with felony fleeing and felony possession of a controlled substance.

Seals is being charged with aggravated assault on an officer. Two guns were recovered in each vehicle.
