Pupseidon Parade in Diamondhead

This year even our four-legged friends get to let the good times roll for a Mardi Gras celebration.
The Mystic Krewe of Pupseidon is hosting its first puppy parade since 2016. Canines of all breeds will stroll down the streets of Diamondhead this Saturday starting at 1 p.m. The parade will get underway at the Diamondhead Country Club.
Two lucky pups have been named king and queen. King Zippysnit and Queen Hope will lead all the other furry friends. Mystic Krewe of Pupseidon Parade Organizer Tara Adams said, “The parade will consist of different dogs and we have crowned a king and a queen for this year’s parade and the name of the parade is ‘Lassie in the sky with diamonds.’ We are just looking for some decorations to put on the cart because we are having mini ponies carting the dogs and the king and queen.”
