Public invited for official marker unveiling for Middle Passage

The Biloxi NAACP is holding a program ahead of the official Middle Passage marker unveiling.

That unveiling is planned for January 11, 2025 at noon.

Middle Passage to Biloxi honors the first enslaved Africans to arrive in the city.

That marker is located on the beach near Biloxi Lighthouse, the public is invited to attend.
