Public Help Still Needed in Shooting

One of those arrested, Charles Johnson who is being held on a probation warrant, was also one of the victims shot moments after the parade. Attorney Mike Crosby tells News 25 his mother is Sharon Johnson who was arrested yesterday for taking her son’s bloody clothes from the hospital. She is being charged with hindering prosecution.
According to Pass Christian Police Chief Tim Hendricks, these eight arrests are a big step in the right direction but all of the details surrounding the shooting are still under investigation. He’s asking the public for some more help. “A lot of the things that are being conveyed to us are anonymous which gives us good information to kind of focus in and hone in on peoples for the persons of interests involved in these things but it doesn’t give us enough for some probable cause, some moving forward charges and prosecution later.”
Hendricks also confirms with News 25 one or more of the seven arrested today could be persons of interest in the deadly shooting.
If you have any further information on this crime, you are urged to contact the Pass Christian Police Department.
