Prohibiting Sanctuary Cities Senate Bill 2710

With another deadline looming later this week lawmakers in Jackson must bring up a number of bills in order for them to stay alive.

Among them a bill that would prohibit the establishment of sanctuary cities.
Senate bill 27-10 would also authorize all Mississippi Law Enforcement officers to assist federal agencies by legally detaining illegal immigrants.
The bill has passed the house judiciary b committee.
The full house must vote on the measure by March 8th in order to keep it alive this session.
