Progress continues on projects at Long Beach Harbor
LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)-Long Beach is moving towards completion of repairs to its inner harbor six years after Hurricane Zeta destroyed the harbor.
Meanwhile, the gateway project designed to connect the harbor with Downtown Long Beach is coming together and work to replace the Jim Simpson Pier is getting underway.
WXXV News 25’s Dave Elliott talked to Mayor Tim Pierce about the progress.
