Progress continues on Long Beach Harbor repair work
LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- Long Beach city leaders have released some new details on the repair work being done at the Long Beach Harbor.
Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann even stopped by the harbor during his recent visit to the Coast to check out the progress.
Right now, work is currently underway on the southern quay to strengthen the outer wall of the harbor, and work on the harbor’s inner wall is nearly complete.
Up next on the project list, work on the inner harbor pier is expected to begin next month.
