Program to help repay nursing loans begins Friday
Nurses in Mississippi will be able to apply for a nurse retention loan repayment program starting Friday, August 4th.
The program is being used as a way to retain nurses in the state of Mississippi by helping them repay their student loans.
Licensed practical nurses or registered nurses with a current nursing license who are in their first year of employment in a skilled nursing home or general acute care hospital are eligible to apply.
The facility must be licensed by the state’s department of health. The recipients must also have outstanding educational loans.
