Processional for Cayce Seal in Bay St. Louis
The body of Bay St. Louis man Cayce Seal is back home on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, a week after the lineman suffered an electric shock while on the job in New Orleans.
First responders escorted Seal in a processional that started at U.S. 90 and Waveland Avenue about 11 a.m. and ended at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home just off Main Street in Old Town Bay St. Louis.
Public visitation is Thursday, July 1st from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Clare Catholic Church on South Beach Boulevard with a mass to follow. Burial is immediately after at the Lakeshore Cemetery in Hancock County. Diamondhead Fire Chief Michael Munger said, “Although I didn’t know Cayce personally, this is really a reminder that first responders of all type of uniforms, you never know when you go out to work that day if you are coming home to your family and we appreciate the work that all first responders do.”
The 28-year-old passed away June 26th at the University Medical Center in New Orleans. Cayce was also an organ donor and gave the gift of life to a woman suffering from liver disease.
