Prime of Life Center hosts a ‘Yee Haw Christmas’
The Woolmarket Prime of Life Center hosted it’s very first Yee-Haw Christmas musical performance this morning.
Normally, the center hosts a Christmas dinner for seniors in Woolmarket, but due to COVID canceling last year’s celebration, the crew decided to go all out for this year.
The musical was filled with singing, dancing, joking, and laughing with performances from the Yee Haw Dancers, Redneck Hip shakers, and more.
This was the first time the center held a Yee Haw Christmas musical event since its opening.
The event was free to enter, but guests had to be 60-years or older. Harrison County District 5 Supervisor Connie Rockco said, “You hear a lot about Christmas and you hear a lot about Christmas music, and we love Christmas here at Woolmarket and the people around us love it. I think there’s about 100 people in there now, and so instead of having a regular Christmas dinner that we usually do, we thought we’d spice it up a little bit.”
With the success of this year’s performance, the center hopes to put on more like it for future holiday seasons.
