Primary Runoff elections for Ward 4 and Ward 7 in Gulfport

In Gulfport, runoffs are being held in two Republican races for city council seats in wards 4 and 7.

The winners of each race have no challengers in the general elections.

Incumbent Ward 4 Councilman Rusty Walker is facing Derek Bullock after Walker received just under a majority of the vote in the primaries with 49.83% while Bullock reeled in 39.55% of the vote.

Over in Ward 7, incumbent Cara Pucheu is going up against Richard Kosloski after Pucheu received 44.44% of the vote and Kosloski secured 34.64% following the four-way primary race earlier in April.
