Press Conference On Margaritaville Hosted By Secretary Of State Delbert Hosemann

This afternoon, Mississippi State Secretary Delbert Hosemann will hold a press conference to address the discrepancy between his office and the City of Biloxi over what to do with the land surrounding Margaritaville.
Secretary Hosemann recently advised Biloxi to withdraw their request to re-zone 20 acres of Point Cadet land to make way for Margaritaville phase two, a $140 million dollar proposal for more family entertainment.
Hosemann wants the city to reserve this area for a potential casino development.
Biloxi Mayor Fofo Gilich recently sent Secretary Hosemann a letter to reconsider.
Hosemann’s press conference is scheduled for one.
