President Trump signs Ezell-authored measure aimed at energy independence

President Donald Trump has signed a resolution authored by Congressman Mike Ezell regarding offshore energy production.

Joint Resolution 11, co-sponsored in the Senate by Louisiana Senator John Kennedy, aims to overturn a Biden administration rule which restricted American energy production on the outer continental shelf.

Resolution 11 passed both chambers of Congress with bipartisan support and the hope is that the repeal of the previous administration’s rules will spark job growth and American energy development.
