President Trump endorses Congressman Ezell for re-election

South Mississippi’s Congressman Mike Ezell receives a major endorsement ahead of the 2026 midterm election cycle.

Over the weekend, President Donald Trump endorsed Ezell’s re-election bid on social media.

In his statement, President Trump called Ezell “A fantastic representative for the wonderful people of Mississippi’s fourth congressional district.”

Ezell is set to face Republican primary challenge from Sawyer Walters in this election cycle and Paul James Blackman is running for the seat as a Democrat.

Ezell is seeking a third term in the House after unseating incumbent Steven Palazzo in the Republican primary for the seat back in 2022 and winning the general election that year.
