President Biden pardons Jackson man

A Jackson man is one of 11 people who were pardoned by President Joe Biden this week.
The White House announced in a press release that 50-year-old Bobby Lowery was pardoned. Lowery was convicted of a non-violent drug offense at the age of 25. According to the press release, Lowery served his sentence and successfully completed the terms of his probation.
The release also said, “Mr. Lowery has maintained steady employment and actively volunteers at his church and at various community-based organizations. Friends and colleagues praise his work ethic, dedication to his family, and strong moral character.”
