Prescribed burn happening in Jackson County
A head’s up, you may see smoke along I-10 in Jackson County Wednesday.
It’s all part of a prescribed burn.
Fish and Wildlife Service Crews are burning 478 acres north of I-10 and west of Old Fort Bayou Road.
Keep this in mind if you see smoke in that area today. We’ve seen a lot of smoke over the past few days due to dry and windy conditions in the area.
