Preliminary report on fatal Cessna crash over Lake Pontchartrain released
The National Transportation Safety Board has released its preliminary report regarding the November Cessna airplane crash.
Most of the plane has been recovered from Lake Pontchartrain when it plunged into the water, broke apart on impact, and killed the two pilots aboard, according to the preliminary report.
The report does not speculate the cause of the crash. A final report could take a year or more to complete.
