PRCC Head Baseball Coach Michael Avalon named NJCAA Division II Coach of the Year
Pearl River baseball capping off a big week of post-season accolades with Head Coach Michael Avalon being named NJCAA Division II Coach of the Year courtesy of the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings.
Earlier this month, PRCC won its first ever World Series crown in its third trip to Enid, Oklahoma.
The Wildcats also won the MACCC and Region 23 Championships in the same season for the first time in school history.
Overall, PRCC finished with a mark of 45-11 and a record of 11-1 since the start of May.
