PRCC basketball standout Joah Chappelle named first team All-MACCC and named conference Freshman of the Year

POPLARVILLE, MS (WXXV) – Postseason basketball award were announced on Tuesday for junior college programs in the area and one Pearl River Central standout was rewarded for his play on the court throughout the year.

Joah Chappelle had himself a freshman year for the Wildcats in the 2024-2025 season. The forward averaged just north of 16 points per game and added just under eight rebounds and three assists per contest. Those are numbers that you do not normally see from a freshman. Chappelle was named to the first team All-MACCC and also named they Freshman of the Year in the MACCC. Two well deserved awards for the Pearl River Community College standout.
