PRCC Baseball’s Tate Parker named ABCA/Rawlings Player of the Year

PRCC baseball and Southern Miss commit Tate Parker is the recipient of the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings Player of the Year award.

Today, the Southern Miss commit out of West Harrison put the finishing touches on a banner career at PRCC.

Parker broke the all-time home run record with 37 long balls en route to leading Pearl River to its first-ever World Series crown.

This season, he led the Wildcats in runs, hits, triples, homers, RBI, average, on-base percentage, slugging, and OPS.

Parker and his Wildcats will be recognized prior to first pitch of tomorrow’s Biloxi Shuckers game.
