PRCC baseball sweeps Baton Rouge on Opening Day
Back in November, PRCC Pitcher Leif Moore signed a national letter of intent with South Alabama, but before he heads off to Mobile, the former St. Martin Yellowjacket has some unfinished business to attend to in Poplarville.
Moore making his first start in almost two years for the fourth ranked Wildcats, having lost most of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 and then the entire 2021 campaign due to Tommy John surgery.
But the former 6A South State champion is back like he never left dealing in game two of Pearl River’s double header against Baton Rouge.
PRCC wins game two 5-0.
In the season opener game one, PRCC wins 11-1.
All part of a PRCC sweep to start the season.
