Powerball jackpot reaches $1 billion

The Powerball jackpot has now climbed to one billion dollars!

There was no winner in last night’s estimated $900 million jackpot. The next drawing is set for Wednesday.

The new jackpot would be the third highest in U.S. history and will keep growing until someone wins.

Powerball is played in 45 states as well as Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
