Household Hazardous Waste Day in Pearl River County

Pearl River County is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Day tomorrow. You can drop off items from 8 a.m. to noon tomorrow at the Carriere Volunteer Fire Department on Highway 11. They’ll be accepting typical household chemicals, gasoline, batteries, light bulbs, propone tanks, and electronics. The county will not accept things like fireworks, explosives, ammunition, medications, or needles.
