Chronic absenteeism in Mississippi schools
According to Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann, a new report reveals the statewide chronic absenteeism rate in Mississippi public schools is now at more than 27 percent. While some schools are doing better, chronic absenteeism is a big problem. Gulfport School Superintendent Glen East is in studio to talk about the issue.
