Post Office Deadlines for Holiday Rush

Next week will be the busiest of the year at post offices and some of the heaviest days for mail delivery. This holiday season the post office expects to process and deliver nearly 16 billion cards, letters, and packages. Monday December 19 is expected to be the busiest day for mailing and shipping at post offices. So if you want to beat the lines or if you’ll be pushing it to the last second, here are reminders of shipping deadlines. Today for USPS retail ground mail. Tuesday December 20 for first class mail. Wednesday the 21 for priority mail. And Friday December 23 for priority mail express.
