Post Claims Deli Workers at Moss Point Piggly Wiggly Refuse Officer
Many Facebook users are urging the public to boycott a Moss Point Piggly Wiggly after two employees reportedly refused to serve a Pascagoula police officer.
According to a Facebook post by Hannah Mae, two deli clerks turned their back on her fiancé and Pascagoula Officer Scott Clayton when he asked for service.
The post says Clayton was in uniform and the deli workers overlooked him and then one clerk said she would not serve him. That post was deleted today, but not before it was shared on Piggly Wiggly’s Facebook page by other angry customers urging others to no longer give the store their business.
News 25 reached out to Store Manager Barry Carmack who says the investigation is ongoing and he has no comment at this time.
