Possession of heroin charges

Harrison County investigators say a man is facing federal drug charges after heroin was found in a Gulfport hotel room.
Sheriff Troy Peterson says 40-year-old Archie Alexander of Gulfport was arrested on federal charges of possession of heroin with the intent to distribute.
Investigators executed a state issued search warrant at a hotel room on Highway 49. There they found Alexander inside along with 80 grams of heroin, scales, and hydrocodone.
Alexander is at the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility with no bond.
