Popp’s Ferry Elementary Principals Become Human Sundaes
Today two principals in Biloxi were covered in sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream and other types of sundae topping goodness.
Principal Todd Boucher and Assistant Principal Lona Moffett made a sweet deal with the students at Popp’s Ferry Elementary. If they raised a certain amount of money for the school, they would get to transform the two principals into human sundaes. Not only did the students meet their goal but they exceed it and raised about $14,000.
“They met their goal, they far exceed their goal. We’re excited about that. We’re just proud of our students for what they’ve accomplished. We just wanted to reward them with a little bit of fun and what better way to do it then to get covered with sprinkles and whipped cream,” said Boucher.
Later this week, the students who met their AR reading goal will get to enjoy a real ice cream sundae party.
Last year, the principals dressed up as hot dogs and students squirted them with ketchup and mustard.
