Popp’s Ferry drawbridge halts traffic in Biloxi

Anyone traveling over the drawbridge on Popp’s Ferry Road earlier today was likely delayed.

The bridge became stuck in the up position at around 6:30 this morning.  Police responded to the area to direct traffic in the affected area and the bridge was returned to its down position by 7 a.m.

News 25 has not received a specific cause for the issue with the drawbridge.
