Popps Ferry Causeway improvements could begin soon in Biloxi

The City of Biloxi is one step away from making the Popps Ferry Causeway Recreational Area a reality.
At this afternoon’s Biloxi City Council meeting, the council is set to review adjustments made to the tidelands lease for the area where the Causeway Recreational Area is to be built. Out at the site you can already find equipment and the project getting underway.
The recreational area has a scheduled completion date of March 2018. The project will be funded with $4.2 million of BP money provided by the state.
