Popp’s Ferry Bridge stuck in down position

The Popp’s Ferry Bridge is locked in a down position for the time being.

That’s according to Biloxi Chief Administrative Officer Mike Leonard.

Repairs are currently underway to replace about 100-feet of power cable.

During this time, there will be no maritime traffic until repairs are complete.

The work is anticipated to last one week.
