Poplarville’s Jett Smith throws no-hitter in Hoover summer tournament

Poplarville rising junior Jett Smith delivered a dominant performance on the mound during summer baseball action in Hoover, Alabama.

Smith tossed a complete-game, seven-inning no-hitter, striking out 12 batters while allowing just three walks in the shutout victory.

Behind the plate for the memorable outing was fellow Poplarville Hornet Camden McCurdy, who caught every pitch of Smith’s no-hit performance.
