Poplarville woman dies after car leaves highway in Stone County
A Poplarville woman died Monday after her vehicle left the roadway and crashed into the tree line.
MHP spokesman Cal Robertson said the incident happened about 12:20 p.m. on Highway 26 in Stone County.
50-year-old Delores Richardson of Poplarville was driving west when her 2015 Nissan Altima left the roadway and hit several trees. Richardson died as a result of injuries from the crash.
Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating.
