Police pursuit in Biloxi

A routine traffic stop turned into a police pursuit in Harrison County late last night.
Mississippi Highway Patrol Spokesman Chase Elkins tells News 25 a driver was pulled over on Highway 67 northbound. Elkins says the man then fled to 605 and then south on 67.
The driver wrecked and ran into the woods near Highway 67 south of Lickskillet Road. From there the Biloxi Police Department took over the search.
No word yet if the driver was apprehended.
