Police investigating two shootings in Ocean Springs
Ocean Springs police responded to two shootings on Sunday with one of the suspects still on the loose.

Ocean Springs Police are investigating a late-night shooting at the Blu Heat Hookah Lounge that apparently started over a botched robbery.
Officers responded about 10:22 p.m. to the lounge about a report of about 15 rounds being fired at the location. Multiple vehicles were hit by gunfire, but there were no victims at the scene.
A call to area hospitals showed that a minor and an adult were at Biloxi Merit Hospital ER with gunshot wounds. Officers were told the wounds were a result of a botched robbery of a PlayStation 5.

In the second incident, a Pascagoula man is in jail, charged in a shooting on Sunday at the Julep Room on Washington Avenue.
Ocean Springs officers were called to the bar in response to a fight. When they arrived, they found one person had been shot in the leg.
Tips from witnesses led to the arrest of 42-year-old Vincent Jenkins, who was charged with aggravated assault. He was taken to the Jackson County jail and bond was set at $1 million.
