Police investigating who stole Ocean Springs mayor’s signs

Ocean Springs Mayor Connie Moran says she hopes police can find out who stole over fifty of her campaign signs over the weekend.
Recently, we ran a story on the over $200 worth of campaign signs Mayor Moran said she had stolen throughout the city over weekend.
In a Facebook post, Mayor Moran wrote that her “opponent’s petty thieves” were behind the stunt.
This morning, News 25 spoke with Moran’s sole opponent, Republican Shea Dobson. “I have no idea who stole them. Wasn’t anyone from my team. I’ve had signs tampered with myself, except I don’t go around blaming others without evidence,” said Dobson. News 25 did speak with Dobson longer, you can catch a full report tonight at 5:30.
