Police investigating death of 23-year-old Moss Point man

MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)-Three people have been arrested and charged with aggravated assault in relation to the death of a 23-year-old Moss Point man this past weekend.
According to authorities, Demond Tayveion Ross died as a result of an altercation on Lilly Circle on Saturday, March 22nd.
Police say the incident happened after a group of females began fighting. A large crowd gathered and Ross was allegedly beaten by several people as he was trying to break up the fight. He was also struck by a vehicle when another assault victim was trying to flee the scene.
Three people have been arrested and charged in this incident. Those people are: 26-year-old Roy Deangelo Reeves Jr., 45-year-old Rubby O’Neal Reeves, and 35-year-old Joseph Dietril Carson, all of Moss Point.
These charges may be upgraded pending autopsy results.
Authorities say this is a complex investigation involving several individuals and more arrests are expected.
