Point Cadet Marina upgrades unveiled
The City of Biloxi cut the ribbon on upgrades to the Point Cadet Marina on Wednesday.
City leaders gathered to unveil the phase 1 dock upgrades to the marina. The more than two dozen floating docks replace docks that were damaged by past storms.
These docks are designed to rise during storm surges, which will help lessen the damage in the marina.
Funding for the project was made possible by city funds, state tidelands funds, and the Restore Act.
