Pled guilty to drug trafficking charges

The man who was arrested for drugs while escaping from a hurricane has pled guilty for his charge of drug trafficking.
Twenty-six-year-old Rodolfo Ortun, his wife, and their baby boy were trying to escape Hurricane Harvey. On August 24, 2017, the family was pulled over in Mississippi for careless driving. Court documents say the deputy then searched the car and found seven kilos of cocaine in the trunk. He told authorities he was to be paid $7,000 for driving the drugs to Atlanta.
Ortun faces a possible life sentence and maximum fine of $10 million. Sentencing is set for April.
