Pitipong Daengbuna found guilty of first-degree murder, tampering with evidence

We have an update in the first-degree murder trial of Coast resident Pitipong Daengbunga.

According to our media partner, the Sun Herald, the jury found him guilty of murder and tampering with evidence in the stabbing and strangulation death of Jamie Boggs in February 2022.

He will spend the rest of his life behind bars, with an additional 10 added for the tampering charge.

Jurors spent much of the week and Wednesday listening to testimony in this case before delivering the guilty verdict Thursday in Harrison County Circuit Court.
