Pitbull kills horse in Gautier

A dangerous pit bull was on the loose in Gautier this afternoon after mauling a horse to death.

There is no word yet if authorities have captured the animal.

From our media partners at the Sun Herald, Gautier police reported they were called to a house off of Graveline Road yesterday after the attack. The dog is described as a blue-nose pit bull with a white chest.

If you see this animal call police and do not approach it.
