Pineville Elementary Warming Up for Friday Celebration

One school here in South Mississippi is warming up for a much-deserved celebration. Pineville Elementary School in Pass Christian is hosting a National Blue Ribbon School celebration in honor of their overall achievement and the results of their hard work wrapped up in the recent announcement of the school’s coveted Blue Ribbon status.

Three other schools in South Mississippi were also recognized by the U.S. Department of Education-St. Patrick Catholic High School in Biloxi, Bayou View Elementary School in Gulfport, and Central Mississippi’s Northshore Elementary School.

All of the nation’s 312 public and 40 private school awardees, will be honored on November 14th and 15th at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
