‘Pigments of my Imagination’ opening at Gallery 782 in Biloxi

Gallery 782 in Biloxi will have a new art exhibit titled ‘Pigments of my Imagination’ opening tomorrow.

Marguerite Pivarnik is the artist behind the exhibit with over 20 years of experience in painting, exhibiting, and teaching.

Gallery 782 is a nonprofit organization that promotes art in the community.

Pivarnik primary mediums are watercolor, photography, and pastels. In this exhibit, she focuses on steampunk  art, photographs, and paintings. “It is art therapy for me. I have been painting since I was a little girl. I said in kindergarten that I wanted to be an art teacher and the teacher let me help do the bulletin board. So, that teacher inspired me for life. During COVID when we couldn’t go anywhere, I would sit down and paint and it’s, you are just kind of in a different world.”

The ‘Pigments of my Imagination’ art reception will be tomorrow from 5 to 8 p.m. and showcased throughout the month.
